About the Assembly Service

At EDL Services Ltd we believe that great customer service is paramount to customer satisfaction therefore we strive to ensure that all customers receive the same high standard of Customer Service no matter how big or small the work we undertake.

Our flat pack assembly service comprises a team of friendly craftsmen who specialise in the assembly of all flat packed furniture in your own home, garden or business on a date convenient to you. We have been partnering Ikea for several years but can build flat pack furniture that you have purchased from any other supplier such as Argos, MFI and John Lewis. All our teams work with the greatest efficiency and pride themselves on their craftsmanship.

We are also able to offer a complete service of laying all makes of laminate flooring. The price quoted includes the laying of the underlay and fitting of beading all of which should be supplied by the customer.

On the chosen morning of your assembly you will be called by the craftsman who has been assigned your assembly to advise you of an approximate time of their arrival. All goods must be allocated to the end user room and there must be sufficient space in which to construct the items of furniture. If there is a charge for parking then this must be paid for by the customer along with any Congestion Charge where applicable.

Once your flat pack furniture has been assembled our craftsmen will dispose of the packaging in your household recycling bin or upon request and for a nominal fee, they will endeavour to remove all unwanted packaging and dispose of it at a local recycling centre. Please specify at the time of booking.

EDL Services is so confident of the work that is provided by our craftsmen that we offer a 30 day guarantee for the workmanship that is undertaken. This is why we are members of The Guild of Mastercraftsmen.
